BUYING IN OUR AUCTIONS

At Block’s Marble Auctions, we conduct three types of sales: Live Auction, Timed On-Line Auction, Direct Sale. 

We generally hold Timed On-line Auctions once a month, on the third Saturday of each month. Occasionally, we will conduct a Live Auction. Marbles and supplies are always available for Direct Sale in our Ebay store.

BEFORE THE AUCTION

Viewing in Person

Items in our Live Auctions and Timed Online Auctions are available for viewing by appointment at our Cherry Hill NJ location. Please contact us if you wish to make an appointment. Items in our Live Auctions are also available for viewing at the auction location during the date and time in the auction listing (generally the morning of the auction)

Viewing Online

We post pictures & item descriptions for every single lot we sell at auction. Our catalogs are typically posted online 2-3 weeks ahead of each sale. Items are photographed from multiple angles and perspectives, and can be enlarged for detailed inspection. We are happy to provide additional photographs and condition reports upon request. To request further information on the condition of an item, contact us.

REGISTER TO BID

In Person

For Live Auctions you can register at the auction location on the day of the auction. Bidders can register by providing proper identification and a valid credit card. Bidders who register at the auction site will be given a bidder number and may begin placing bids immediately.

Online Bidding

Online bidding is offered worldwide through our in-house platform. In addition, Live Auctions are available thru Live Auctioneers. Please ensure that you are qualified to bid online. Bidders with limited history or with open disputes may require additional credit verification. Block’s Marble Auctions reserves the right to decline any bidders who fail to meet the registration criteria. Please note that online bidding through LiveAuctioneers does have a higher buyer's premium associated. See our terms and conditions for complete details.

Absentee Bidding

 If you can not attend a Live Auction, you can always leave an absentee bid. Please login to your Block’s Marble Auctions account to register for an auction and leave absentee bids.

PAYMENT & PICKUP

Form of Payment

Payment is required within 3 business days following the auction. Visa/Mastercard/Discover Accepted. You may call our office to provide payment information or use our online payment system. Online payment is valid for US customers only. We also accept checks for payment. See our terms and conditions for information.

Sales Tax

If you are a licensed dealer and wish to be tax exempt, please provide our office with a completed Connecticut Exemption Certificate. Items being shipped out of state are not subject to sales tax.

Shipping

You can pickup your items in person from our Cherry Hill NJ location. Alternatively we provide full shipping service. Our shipping is provided at the cost of postage plus $1.00 for materials. Generally a few small marbles will ship for under $5. We ship within 2 days of payment. See our terms and conditions for more information.
